I am an old school classroom format student, I always diligently finish all my courses that I have paid for!!

I stepped into corporate world at the age of 41( yeah you read correctly!)
Very soon I realized to align myself quickly with Gen Z digital world I have to rely on online training. Signed up for couple of online and offline courses to arm myself with latest tools of marketing and business development.

I started applying my learning in bits and pieces but there was confusion all over such as

  • Which tools to choose for what?
  • How to integrate all the tools to make it function as a holistic solution ?
  • How much should I keep paying to learn enough?

I was following Digital Deepak Internship Program Batch #1 and found the format to be interesting.
In this program the emphasis is NOT ON making you just TOOL CHAMPIONS but also helping you understand the fact that

All our anxieties were dealt beforehand by enrolling us in the Facebook Group where our seniors, peers could help/support/push each other for our assignments.

Before we learnt technicalities of digital marketing tools/process, Deepak took us through some of the key concepts which are essential or rather imperative to become a good marketer.

Step 1: Setting a realistic, achievable yet challenging GOAL for ourselves

Step 2: Find your GOLD, your niche

Step 3: Understand YOUR consumer’s behaviour

Step 4: Develop an effective communication strategy to help YOUR consumer receive your message correctly.

Step 5: Understand the basics of Economy and how does it affect Market

Step 6: Understand how the elements of digital marketing works in an integrated manner, the whole Eco-System

Step 7: Understand the importance of Building your Personal Brand.

Become a brand that YOUR consumers know and trust

Step 8: Understand the Sales Funnel Process

Step 9: Design an Action Plan implementing these concepts with respect to your niche
